Since that time they have grown, largely due to the recommendation of their many satisfied clients, and now have 3 clinics in South Wales.

Louise is actively involved with the provision of the continuing professional development of Chiropractors in South Wales, where she acts as the Course Coordinator for the South Wales Faculty of the College of Chiropractors. As a Professional Member of Back Care, the National Organisation for Healthy Backs, she is committed to reducing the impact of back pain

Louise takes a particularly holistic approach with emphasis on ergonomics, lifestyle, nutrition, exercise and preventative advice.

Louise is also committed to widening the access of Chiropractic services to the local community and insomuch she has forged links with GPs surgeries in the region that regularly recommend patients for chiropractic treatment.

Alyson Chadwick, B.Sc. (Hons)

Alyson Chadwick, B.Sc. (Hons) Chiropractic, is a graduate of the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic and joined Parkwood in August 2002. Rather than focusing her interest in one particular area of chiropractic, Alyson enjoys working with the vast range of musculoskeletal conditions and different individuals she sees throughout her daily practice.
These range from the simple to the more complicated cases and from treatment of the very young to the more mature chiropractic patient.
Alyson believes in activating patients throughout their care and introducing rehabilitation as a preventative mechanism with a view to reducing the necessity for future courses of treatment

Bjorn Hennius

Bjorn Hennius, born in Sweden in 1959, graduated from the Anglo European College of Chiropractic in 1984. Apart from long clinical experience in Sweden and Britain he lectured for over two years at the University of Glamorgan. He works mainly in the Cathedral Road and Oakdale practices.
Bjorn has had experience from both rural and city practices and is especially interested in patient education and prevention measures, enabling patients to have long term benefit from chiropractic care. Since his time in Stockholm he has also developed a special interest in the care of ‘anxious’ and ‘apprehensive’ patients. In keeping with the Philosophy of Parkwood Chiropractic Clinics, Bjorn subscribes to a thorough and holistic approach recognising that adequate time is essential at each appointment.
